Joseph Frederick Lesniak

     Joseph “Joe” F. Lesniak, 91, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away Monday, September 28, 2015. He was born February 2, 1924 to Anthony and Antonia Lesniak. Joseph was a long-time member of St. Albert Catholic church. He was a member of the Air Force for twenty-three years, and he served in WWII and Korea, retiring with honors. Joe was also a twenty-nine year member of the American Legion Post #64 in Heber Springs.

     Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wilma; and two brothers. Joseph is survived by his sister, Ruth Kowalczyk of Illinois; two sons, Phillip and Steve; three nephews, Mike Kowalczyk and Ray Kowalczyk both of Illinois and Jim Lesniak of Florida; and one granddaughter, Ruth of Florida.
