Geneva Louise Moore

     Geneva Louise Moore, age 96, went to her heavenly home Monday, June 13, 2016.  She was born in Lake City, Arkansas to the late Homer Lawson Payne and Violet “Penix” Payne who preceded her in death.  She also was preceded in death by her husband, John Ervin Moore and one son, Clarence Eugene Moore. 

     Mrs. Moore was an active member of First Baptist Church of Heber Springs.  She loved spending time with her friends and family, playing chicken foot (domino game), spending time in her garden, joining her friends at water aerobics and making her famous pecan pies.

     Left to cherish her memories are one son, Larry Ervin Moore of Seattle, Washington; five grandchildren, Michelle Johnson, Larry Moore, Jr., James Moore, Jeffery Moore, and Tatiana Moore; She also had ten great- grandchildren; Jennifer Moss, Amanda Johnson, Heather Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Zackery Moore, Evan Moore, Natalie Moore, Gracie Moore, Shaun Fielhauer and Jacob Fielhauer.

     Her service will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 at Heber Springs Funeral Home with Dr. J.R. Debusk officiating,  a visitation held two hours prior to service from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. with burial followed at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery at 4:00 p.m..
