Clara I. Stonewalter, 81, of Wilburn passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Clara was one of nine children and she was born May 4, 1934 in Banner, Arkansas to Oca and Lillian Robbins. She and her husband of fifty-one years, H.L. Stonewalter, were the parents of eleven children, twenty-four grandchildren, and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
A life long resident of Arkansas, she worked at the Glove Factory, Ely Walker, and retired from Skil Corporation in Heber Springs. Clara was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she was well known and loved by many others. She was a member of Friendship Community Church on Dry Mountain Road.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Burl Robbins, Ben Robbins, and Shorty Robbins; and three sisters: Adele Johnson, Elsie Johnson, and Ethel Sharp.
She is survived by her husband, H.L. Stonewalter; six sons: Steven (Betsy) Phillips, Harlen Stonewalter, Ronald Stonewalter, David (Carol) Stonewalter, Terry (Teresa) Phillips, and Gerald (Diane) Stonewalter; five daughters: Sharon (Rick) Schenck, Shirley (Bill) Barnes, Lisa (Dave) Undercoffler, Nita (Casey) Chastain, and Rita (Harlan) Davis; two brothers: Glenn Robbins and Roy Robbins; and numerous extended family members and friends.
