Billy A. Jinkins went home to be with his Lord on April 3, 2016 after a long illness. He was 77 years old.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents: Aaron and Freida (Pinion) Jinkins. He is survived by his wife, Judith “Judy”, of the home. He is also survived by his daughter, Vickie Jinkins of Sherwood; step-daughter, Julie Wetley of Tomah, Wisconsin; and two step-sons: William “Billy” Hatfield of Heber Springs and David Hatfield of Sparta, Wisconsin; two grandchildren: Sean and Alisha; five step-grandchildren: Mandy, Angela, Billy, Rebekah, and Matthew; one great-grandchild: Rachel; and six step great-grandchildren: Kathrine, Vanessa, Donovan, Bradon, Dylan, Coby, and Khylea.
He also leaves behind three sisters: Betty (Bob) Cole of Heber Springs, Linda (Jerry) Miles of Minden, Louisiana, and Peggy (Rick) Johnson of Heber Springs; and one brother, Leon (Elaine) of Heber Springs; and many other relatives and friends.
Among other things, Billy worked many years as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a veteran, and he served his country honorably.
He loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God church. Billy enjoyed many outdoor activities including: boating, bird hunting, and fishing.
