I met Rena many years ago as part of the Jesus is Lord Ministry. She was that rare warm, loving, and giving person that we are fortunate to ever meet. She seemed to somehow care for everyone all at once with nobody being left out. I know she was a faithful friend to the Thompson family for so many years. I'm praying for your tender hearts as you accept yet another loss from this side of the heartbeat. What a reunion over in the Gkory Land. I love you, Rena! I look forward to meeting again.

Rena and I started first grade together at Ramble School here in Hot Springs, and were school friends all through the years. I have not seen her in a long time, but I remember her so well.

Aunt Rena would be a good role model for young women of today. She has blessed our lives and we loved her. I will treasure her phone calls and she never failed to tell me she loved us. It was never about her it was always about others. Sunday was a glorious day for aunt Rena, Lucille, and Mary.

Sorry to hear about Rena. She was my Sunday School teacher back in the 50's in Hot Springs at First Pentecostal Church. I have nothing but good memories of her.

My condolences to the family. I worked with Rena at Craighead Laundry & cleaners. Middle 70's to early 80's. She was a wonderful and precious lady. I was there when she decided to retire. There was 3 of us girls in the office along with Rena. When she saw we had a very busy day she would leave and bring us back cookies and cupcakes and would get our favorite cheese dip and chips! What a treat! I have always wondered about her through the years. As I am now 67 years old. I know she loved her church and God. She was a blessing to everyone.

Selfless servant. Sweet spirit. Faithful friend. Treasured sister in Christ. Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter His gates with thanksgiving in your heart ... enter His courts with praise! So grateful to have shared the bond of family with you in this life ... and the share His promise that we will to continue to do so in the life to come.

I will surely miss you Aunt Rena. You have been a sweet blessing in mine and my families lives over the past 20 years.
You have taught us many things and most important how to be a Godly woman.
I pray I meet you again one day in that heavenly place.

I was so sad to hear of Rena's passing. We loved her just like our own Family and she has been a part of my Thompson family for so long. She was blessing and I was blessed to have known her. Aunt Bernice, you were truly her sister in Christ and she was like my own Aunt as well. Grannie and Papaw loved her too. They are all singing with the angels now, with Angie and Uncle Charles, Glenda, Tommy and Aunt Sherry as well.

We are so very sorry to hear about Ms. Rena. We are praying for all of you. Mrs. Bernice, we are right across the street if you need anything at all. I am home most all the time. I know I gave you my number once but just in case you misplaced it, I gave it to Molly and she is going to give it to you. You call day or night. God Bless you. Ms. Rena is in such a better place and we will see her again soon.
