Juanita Marie Sweetin

     Juanita Marie Sweetin, age 90, went to be with the Lord September 10, 2016.  Mrs. Sweetin was born May 27, 1926 to the late James Wood and Cecil Bell Green. Juanita was a loving mother and friend to everyone that knew her; she was a member of the Earth Angles, helping the cancer awareness and donated to children’s hospital and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Augusta .  Juanita Sweetin was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of many years Richard Leroy Sweetin; two children, Betty Ann Sweetin and John Roy Sweetin; six brothers, James A. Wood, Hershel R. Wood, Willard Wood, Vern Wood,Junior M. Wood, and Cecil D. Wood; one sister, Alma Louise Gamble, and one adopted daughter, Molly Somers.

     Left to cherish the memory of Juanita Sweetin are three daughters; Janice Elaine Kain, and her husband Jim of Heber Springs, Lena (Paulette) Majors, and her husband David of Shelbyville, Indiana, and Lisa Diane Sahs, and her husband Steve of Heber Springs; two sisters; Loretta Tucker of West Helena, and Patsy Folen of Sherwood; along with two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

     Services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Heber Springs Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held the night before from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  online obit available at www.heberspringsfuneralhome.com
