I am saddened to read of the passing of Betty. I have thought of you all so many times since our interchanges when Mikayla was in my class. It's not always that families of students rain in our hearts, but y'all were the exception. My thoughts, love and prayers are with all of you.

She was a strong, bold, beautiful woman. She loved and protected her family with every ounce of being in her. I admired that lady, and yes I did love her, her stories of her past, her belief in God, things that I will always have of her. My heart hurts with you and I understand if there is anything that I can do I will.

Betty was a very special lady. She always tried to take care of Barb and me like she had known us our entire life She would send Terry up to check on me and bring me a gatorade. She was always afraid I was going to overheat. We are sadden to hear of her passing, our time at our second home will not be the same.
