Wanda Lee Bittle Harlan went to be with her Lord at the age of 93. She passed away peaceful in her home on February 27, 2022 in Heber Springs, AR. Wanda was born on June 22, 1928, to Gordon and Blanche Bittle in Woodrow, AR.
She served her Lord for 72 years and most of those years were spent as a pastor’s wife. Wanda was a member of the Sunny Slope General Baptist Church.
Wanda was a homemaker most of her adult life, however, she retired at the age of 76 from the Glove Corporation after working there many years. Wanda loved going to church, reading, sewing, but she mostly loved cooking for her family, especially her ever praiseworthy biscuits.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Wayne Harlan; her parents, Gordon and Blanche Bittle; a daughter, Charlotte Decker; two brothers, W.T and Loy Bittle; a granddaughter, Crystal Gerber; and a great-grandson, Tucker Eddleman.
The loved ones who are going to miss her terribly are Karon (John) Schaumleffel of Quitman, Roger (Linda) Harlan of Drasco, AR, Steve Harlan of Liberty, IN, Leeann (Kenneth) Martin of Heber Springs, AR; seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; many other family members and a lot of great friends.
Pallbearers are Jeff Harlan, Philip Schaumleffel, Brian Harlan, Steven Schaumleffel, Jeremy Decker, Colton Reeves, Ryan Schaumleffel, and Shawn Reeves.
