Wanda Faye Floyd, age 76, of Floral, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 6, 2026. She was born March 10, 1949 in Higden, Arkansas to the late Laymon Nelson and Gladys Marie Tackett Nelson. 

Wanda retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant after working for many years. She was passionate about her job and enjoyed bringing happiness to the people she helped everyday. She loved to fish, play bingo, watch western movies, work in her flower garden, Elvis, and Popeyes chicken, but most of all, she loved to be with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Edward Floyd; and two brothers, Alton Nelson, and Ronnie Nelson. 

Wanda is survived by her son, Danny Floyd (Sara) of Floral, Arkansas; daughter, Angela Candler (Darrel) of Floral, Arkansas; her fiance’, Dickey Hamilton of Floral, Arkansas; three sisters, Janette Sanders (Randy) of Floral, Arkansas, Connie Allen of Rosie, Arkansas, and Teresa Lawrence (Scott) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; sister in law, Maxine Nelson; five grandchildren, Jessica Cunningham (Jason), Colby Floyd, Dillon Floyd, Brayden Candler (Jenna), and Kaleb Floyd; and great-grandchildren, Granger Candler, Paisley Candler, Warren Cunningham, and two more on the way. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. 

A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 PM, Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Oak Grove Church, 29 Wolf Bayou Rd. Drasco, AR 72530. Officiated by Bro. Darvin Carlton and special music by the Meeks Family. The family asks that all flowers be sent to the church.
