Walter William Schriber, age 94, of Ward, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at his home. He was born September 9, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Benjamin Schriber and Martha Balk Schriber.
Wally was a veteran who served in the United States Air Force. After his service, he served as a carrier for the United States Postal Service and as a transportation driver for the Veterans Administration. He had a love for model trains that he shared with everyone. He enjoyed trout fishing and spending time with his family and especially his life partner, Hettie Payne.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Harold J. Schriber.
Wally is survived by his life partner, Hettie Payne; and two nieces, Stacy Schriber and Sheryl Resnik of St. Louis, Missouri. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
