Walter Miskowski, age 84, of Heber Springs passed away October 12, 2024 at Southridge Village Nursing Home. Walter was born on September 21, 1940, son of Walter J. and Catherine (Schramm) Miskowski in Jackson, MI. He was preceded in death by his current wife LaVerne (Lovie) Lackovic-Miskowski and previous wife Martha Jane, his parents, brothers Joseph and Robert and sisters Josephine and Barbara.

Walter is survived by two brothers, Timothy and Raymond (Janice); one sister Mary Ann Allen; Stepdaughters Cynthia Eaker, Robbi Lynn (Bil) Forslund and Susie Gorzen and Stepson William (Eileen) Lackovic; 11 Step grandchildren, 31 Step great grandchildren, 9 Step great great grandchildren along with many loved relatives and precious friends.

He was a member of St. Albert Catholic Church in Heber Springs and devoted to the Lord. Walter was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Heber Springs American Legion, an Army Veteran and retired assembly lineman employed by Doosan Corporation in Brooklyn, MI for many years. 

Walter was an avid fisherman and hunter. One of his many joys was cooking the fish he caught for his beloved wife Lovie and family. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Albert Catholic Church in Heber Springs followed by a luncheon.
