Vera Ruth Lee, age 80, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas on Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was born on January 19, 1943 in Clarion, Iowa to Jesse Doyle Watkins and Violet Ella Collicott. 

Vera is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Geryl Watkins

She is survived by her daughter, Renee Savedra-Jones (Darleen) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; son, J.R. Price of Sterling, Colorado; brothers, Kenny Watkins and Keith Watkins; sister, Linda Richmond; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends. 

Vera was a retired bookkeeper that used her talents for many organizations and businesses throughout her career. She loved fishing, bowling and traveling with her friends. She had many pets throughout her life, but was especially attached to Otis and Thelma. She loved to hang out with her family and friends. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
