Velton Hardy Fulton

Velton Hardy Fulton, age 72, of Heber Springs went to be with the Lord August 20, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born September 8, 1945 in Conway, Arkansas he was the son of the late William Fulton and Lora Haney Fulton. He attended Cleburne County Baptist Church.

Velton’s hobbies included hunting and traveling the outdoors, working on and restoring old cars. He loved his family and was a loving man. The family stated he never lost his temper and was just an even tempered and easy going man.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Lovin Fulton whom he married December 11, 1992; his mother, Lora Haney Fulton of Greenbrier, AR; three sons, Billy Fulton of Loon Lake, WA, William Fulton of Greenbrier, AR, Velton Fulton, JR of Rosebud, AR; two daughters, Lora Armstrong and husband Rusty of Rosebud, AR and Rose Grounds and husband Greg of Mabelvale, AR;   one step-son, Christopher Gray and wife Susan of Bryant, AR; three brothers, George Fulton and wife Cindy of Greers Ferry, AR, Junior Fulton and wife Debbie of Guy, AR and Michael Fulton of Greenbrier, AR; four sisters, Valley Spinks of Greers Ferry, AR, Oneida Stephens and husband Lewis Paul of Houston, TX, Charlotte Sisk and husband Mike of Florida and Patricia Fulton of St. Joe, AR;   thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Fulton and a step-daughter, Loretta Hewitt.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.,  Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Heber Springs Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 am, Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Cleburne County Baptist Church in Heber Springs with Brother Tim Crumpton officiating. Interment will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Quitman, Arkansas.
