Troy Lynn Jeffrey

Troy Lynn Jeffrey, age 81, of Concord, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at his residence.  He was born August 10, 1939, in Batesville, Arkansas to the late Troy Idus Jeffrey and Myrtle Martin Jeffrey. He was of the Methodist faith.

Troy was a mechanic and loved working on trucks and he especially enjoyed helping others by working on their trucks and sharing his knowledge with them. He played the drums and liked reloading shells and doing target practice. He enjoyed camping with friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Margarett Southerland Jeffrey; his parents; a Son-in-law, James Alexander; and brother-in-law, Robert Ward.

Survivors include; one son; Alan Jeffrey (Dawn) of Concord, Arkansas; two daughters, Liz Cooper (Ricky) of El Paso, Arkansas and Brandi Alexander of Concord, Arkansas; two God children, Ethan and Isaac Osborn; one sister, Loyce Ward of Haughton, Louisiana; one niece, Lyndie Carter (Peter); one nephew, Steve Ward; grandchildren, Shawna Ives (Jon), and Paige Edwards (Jonathan) of Batesville, Arkansas, Lauren Hendrix (Remington) of Cave Springs, Arkansas, Jason Cooper (Gloria) of Pangburn, Arkansas; 5 great-grandchildren, Ellie Hendrix, Abigail Edwards, Paislee Cooper, Milo Hendrix and Owen Cooper, and many friends.

No services are planned at this time.   In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concord United Methodist Church, 375 Five Mile Rd., Drasco, Arkansas, 72530.
