Tracey Handley Obituary

Tracey Diane (Smithson) Handley, age 61 of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away on February 5, 2020 at her home surrounded by the love of her family. She was born February 18, 1958 in Metropolis, Illinois the daughter of the late Don and Bessie Olene Smithson. She attended New Life Church in Heber Springs. Before moving to Heber Springs, she was employed as a nurse with Internal Medicine of West Memphis, Arkansas.

Mrs. Handley loved spending time with her grandchildren, loved the outdoors and was an avid Razorback fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Handley; sister, Carla Smithson; brother, Gary Smithson and her parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Cristy Fowler (Robby) of Heber Springs, Arkansas and Kim Ferguson (Steven) of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas; one sister, Michelle Francisco of Heber Springs, Arkansas; one brother, Mark Smithson (Paula) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

No formal services are scheduled. A celebration of her life will be held soon with friends and family.
