Suzanne Balenko

Suzanne Balenko, age 77, of Pangburn, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Southridge Nursing Home in Heber Springs, Arkansas. She was born May 9, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Marion 'Bud' Aussieker and Margaret Fister Aussieker.

Suzanne contributed a boisterous and infectious laugh everywhere she went. A spirited fashionista, she always had a colorful look that was just right, with a little bling. Sewing was a lifelong passion, the most memorable was the matching mom - daughter 60's dresses. She was an exceptional cook and enjoyed sharing recipes with family & friends. She enjoyed the solitude, beauty, and bird watching living on the Little Red River.

Those that preceded Suzanne in death were her parents and one brother David Aussieker. Survivors include her husband, John C. Balenko whom she married December 18, 1982; three children, Jeffry Culver Biesinger (Lisa Hasenbalg) of Chicago, Illinois, Jil Biesinger of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Jon Scott Biesinger of Ft. Collins, Colorado; two step-children, Christina Balenko Wren (Chris, deceased) of Little Rock and John M Balenko (Boundy C) of Russellville;  one granddaughter, Chelsie Loper of Knoxville, Tennessee;  six step-grandchildren, Maryevalyn Wren of Houston,Texas; Jack Wren, Chloe Wren McLeod (Keith) and Lillie Wren of Little Rock, Arkansas, Sarah and David Balenko of Russellville; and one sister, Kathy Engelmeyer of Saint Ann, Missouri; and many friends.

Services: A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Heber Springs Funeral Home.
