Susan Lanell (Peppers) Blue Obituary

Susan Lanell (Peppers) Blue, of Searcy, Arkansas, entered into the presence of Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 10th, 2025. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Searcy, and she loved her church and her Pastor. Susan was a Registered Nurse for many years in Helena, Arkansas and Memphis, Tennessee. She also spent the last several years as a caretaker for her mother. She loved dressing up and wearing jewelry, and she had a necklace for every occasion. She loved to joke around and laugh, and she never met a stranger. In fact, if you were ever in Walmart, she probably talked your ears off. The most important things in the world to her were her sons and spoiling her grandkids. She often stated that if she knew how much fun having grandkids was, she would have had them first.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Willie (1993) and Avanell (2025) Peppers, a sister, Lisa Henson (2005), and a brother,  Ronald Peppers (2017). She is survived by her three brothers, Eric Peppers and wife Michelle, of Romance, Arkansas, Edward Peppers and wife Judy, of Byhalia, Mississippi, Jackie Peppers and wife Diane, of Morrison, Illinois, a sister, Sharon Handel and husband Gary, of Rock Falls, Illinois, her three sons, T.J. McCann and wife KaSandra, Nathan McCann and wife Jeni, both of Searcy, Arkansas, and Matthew McGee of Salem, Oregon, four granddaughters, Maylie, Autumn, Marcie, and Ava, and two grandsons, Mark and Camden.

Funeral services will be conducted by Heber Springs Funeral Home at Faith Assembly of God, 2447 AR-16, Searcy, AR 72143 on Saturday, July 19th, 2025. Visitation will be at 1PM, and a funeral service will be held at 2PM under the direction of Pastor Dane Hall.
