Obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Sophie Mae Michie, our loving and devoted grandmother. She passed away peacefully on July 13, 2023, surrounded by family.

Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.

She is survived by two grandsons, Tyler Eveland (Kim) of Troy, Missouri, Ben Bueneman of Truxton, Missouri; two-granddaughters, Jessica Gaulden (Joseph) of Heber Springs, Arkansas, and Jacie Lee (Nicholas) of Snyder, Texas; one son, Ted Bueneman (Dani) of Truxton, Missouri; two great- grandchildren, Lainey Eveland and Brantley Gaulden; and many extended family members and friends.

She is proceeded in death by beloved husband Joe E. Michie; her two daughters, Elizabeth Eveland and Judith Laughlin; brother Ted Zeck; sister Bonnie Hale; parents Ivan and Callie Zeck.

Per her request there will be no services.
