Shelba Jane West Kever, age 84, went to be with the Lord peacefully with her daughter by her side on September 2, 2024. She was born on March 14, 1940 in Drasco, Arkansas to John and Martha (Spinks) West. She was raised in Drasco and graduated from Concord High School. She married Doug Kever, and they moved to Little Rock. They worked together at Moore Ford and Later at Little Rock Dodge, where she was the office manager. They returned to Cleburne County in the late 1980s and eventually settled in Heber Springs.

Jane loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She was always busy with a project, from painting to yard work to helping family and friends with anything that they needed. She enjoyed being outside, cooking for loved ones, fishing, and being Nana to her granddaughter and her great-grandbabies. 

Jane is survived by her daughter, Barbara and son-in-law, Henry Engler, granddaughter Anna and her husband Scott Cole, and two great-grandchildren Shepherd and Georgia Cole. She is also survived by her three brothers and sisters-in-law, John E. and Shirley West, Tom and Patty West, and Carl and Tresa West, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Martha West as well as her husband Doug Kever. 

A visitation will be held at Renew Church in Heber Springs from 9:30-11:00 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 on Friday, September 27th.
