Sandra Kay Young, age 76, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Southridge Nursing and Rehab. She was born on January 21, 1948 in Okemah, Oklahoma to the late James Bartlett Stout and Tina and Dave McNeely. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Heber Springs. 

Sandra was a founding member of the Jitterbopper Dance Club and a member of the Daisy Patch Quilting Club. She loved her law enforcement family. Everyone in town called her Mom or Grammy because she treated everyone like her own. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Hallo Schroerlucke. 

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Kristi Young of Heber Springs, Arkansas, and Susie Young of Heber Springs, Arkansas; a sister, Linda Ketelaar of Heber Springs, Arkansas; and five grandchildren, Ryan Hensler, Karlie Young, Rowan Lacy, Noah Siler, and Kovacs Young. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. 

A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 PM, Monday, September 9, 2024 at Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Elwin Oller is officiating.
