Ruth Ann Tippitt was born on November 1, 1964, in Jacksonville Florida. Ruth departed this life on December 27, 2024, at her home in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Dorthy Nietsche; Father, Harry Rogers; Stepfather, August Tieman; and Brother-in-Law, Eddie Matzel. She is survived by her husband, Ricky Tippitt of Heber Springs, Arkansas; Daughters, Samantha and Paige Tippitt of Heber Springs; Son, Trace and wife, Amanda Tippitt of Heber Springs; Mother, Sandy Tieman of Lake City, Florida; sisters, Cindy Matzel of Dahlonega, Georgia, Victoria and Jamie Jobes of Fisher, Texas, Deedee and Scott Garrand of West Brookfield, Massachusetts; brothers, Charlie and Joe Markam of Jacksonville, Florida; nine grandchildren, Kaylynn, Lucy, Aceson, Indie, Loki, Astrid, Zen, Rikki, and Osiris; forty-three nieces and nephews; and 48 great nieces and nephews. 

Ruth was a Christian and faithful believer in Jesus Christ. Ruth and Ricky owned and operated Cash Saver in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Where you could find them most days throughout the week. Ruth was a hard worker and loved her work family. She adored her family and spent time with them as much as possible. She loved being on the lake with family and friends, her music, and dancing, she was always the Queen of the party. She loved shopping, especially for other people. She loved throwing parties on holidays such as Memorial Day weekend and Christmas. Ruth always went all out to make sure everyone had the best time no matter what it took. Ruth had this unique talent of doing things behind the scenes unnoticed, somehow making sure Ricky got the credit. She possessed a loving and caring heart. Always wanting the best for everyone. 

Ruth Ann Tippitt was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, mimi, aunt, friend, successful business owner, problem solver, helper, giver, and so much more. Ruth was always humble and grateful. She was intelligent, witty, funny, and beautiful. She was a music connoisseur often playing her many favorite artists. Although she Lived in Arkansas for over 20 years, she was still a Florida girl at heart. She was a big football fan and loved the Florida Gators. Most of all she loved spending time with her husband of 36 years, Ricky. Ricky was her best friend and their love was inspiring.

Throughout Ruth's life she touched the lives of so many people. She was often known for helping others. It brought her joy to put a smile on someone’s face. She never wanted the recognition, often preferring to help people anonymously. If we wrote about all the things Ruth did to help others throughout her life it would fill this room. Her kind heart was most definitely noticed by God and in heaven her good deeds are proclaimed.

Through her examples of love and kindness, she leaves behind a part of her bestowed in the hearts and minds of her kids, grandkids, and many of us here today. She lived a happy and successful life with her husband Ricky and the family they created together. She lived a life of unconditional love, truth, joy, and sadness. A life of strong commitment and dedication. 

Lord, thank you for allowing us to share our lives with one of your special creations. Thank you for the time we had with Ruth, and let her memory be remembered in smiles by all who loved her.
