Roland “Wayne” Hogan, 65, of Heber Springs, Arkansas went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Born January 15, 1957 in Morrilton, Arkansas to the late Mrs. Christine Hogan.

Wayne is preceded in death by His parents and a brother Randy Hogan, and is survived by his siblings Ardis Hogan, Glenn Hogan, Beverly Dennis, Joyce Hogan, Myra Lentz; Son, Philip (Tina) Hogan and 4 beloved grandchildren Isaac, Josiah, Elijah, and Ezra.

He enjoyed a diverse career history, excelling in retail management, and then spending considerable time in other fields such as legal research and cdl trucking. Wayne was an avid scuba diver
and spear-fisher, diving in many of Arkansas’ beautiful lakes. Wayne also enjoyed boating – spending several years sailing on both Greer’s Ferry Lake and Lake Ouachita. Wayne was an accomplished mechanic with the ability to make just about anything work again, including restoring classic cars such as a ’67 Pontiac GTO and an ‘81 Chevy Camaro. Wayne loved spending time outdoors exploring and enjoying the beauty and serenity of God’s creation. Most significantly, Wayne had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He enjoyed Bible study and had a great understanding of God’s word. He had a special gift for making deep connections with people. He is loved and will be greatly missed. 

Graveside funeral service will be held at Good Springs Cemetery in Heber Springs, AR on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Tim Crumpton of Cleburne County Baptist Church will be officiating.
