Reta Jo Hines, aged 65, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness. Born in Searcy, Arkansas, on September 12, 1960, she was the cherished daughter of the late Ted and Dovie (Branscum) Hines.

Reta was a former resident of Heber Springs, Arkansas, where she raised her children, and later moved to Branson, Missouri. In Branson, she lived a truly righteous life, shining her light brightly and always offering a helping hand to anyone in need. Reta was known by all who knew her as kind, loving, quick-witted, and incredibly talented woman Throughout her 65 years of life, she maintained a steadfast commitment to her values, and had the time of her life with her gals seeing I’m sure well over 300 shows.

A lifelong member of the Assembly of God faith, Reta loved music, singing, and worshiping in church.  Her work life was spent at Skil and Sight and Sound Theatre. Above all, she loved her family and friends fiercely.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her three sisters, Jan Wittenburg Faubus, Joyce Hines, and Joan Crump.

Her memory will be kept alive by her surviving family, including her two daughters, Kayla Whitney Cline and Kristen Kacie Cline; her two sisters, Judy Coffee and Cleta George of Heber Springs; and her brother-in-law, Clint Crump of Missouri; five grandchildren, Gabriel Edward, Kylie Grace, Tristan Michael, Alexander Reid, and Charlotte Gwen; and many extended family members and wonderful friends. 

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Southridge Nursing Home and LifeTouch Health Hospice. They were truly angels on earth for our family during this difficult time.

The visitation is from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Heber Springs Funeral Home. The funeral service is 11:00am, Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Heber Springs Funeral Home followed by the interment at Fox Cemetery in Fox, Arkansas.
