Peggy J. Phillips of Drasco, Arkansas, age 64, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
Peggy was born in Bonne Terre, Missouri on June 27, 1958 to Buel and Margaret (Hightower) Hill, the third of eight children. Peggy graduated from Wilburn High School in 1976. She received her LPN degree from Gateway Technical College in 1992 and her RN from Ozarka College in 2012.
Peggy married Vernon Phillips in 1975, together they raised two daughters and were married for 47 years.
Peggy was a member of Macedonia General Baptist Church where over the years she served as a Sunday school teacher, children’s church leader, sang in the choir and as the church Clerk.
She enjoyed reading and supporting her kids and grandkids in all their adventures.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Judy.
Survivors include her husband Vernon; her daughters, Angela (GL) Sutherland and Keenea (Josh) Henderson; her grandchildren, Kaylyn (Daniel) Allen, Ethan(Destiny) Sutherland, Cody Henderson and Ava Ray Henderson; her brothers, Gary, Gerald, Raymond, and Steven; her sisters, Geraldine and Mary; and many extended family members and friends.
