Patricia Lynn Ferren, age 81, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025. She was born December 20, 1943 in McGehee, Arkansas to the late Frank M. Stewart and Ellen Maxine Stetler Stewart. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Searcy.

Pat earned a couple of Masters Degrees in Music and Elementary Education. She taught for many years in the Newport and Searcy School Districts. She was very talented and enjoyed playing the piano and the accordion. However, her most important role in life that she accepted was the role of mother and care provider for her special needs son, Preston. She loved him dearly and always tried to put his needs above her own. 

Pat is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Brenda Fay Ancell. She is survived by her son, Preston Ferren; and many extended family members and wonderful friends. 

A Memorial Service is planned for 10:00 AM, Monday, June 23, 2025 in the Family Life Center at First Assembly of God in Searcy, Arkansas.
