Pamela Sue Crumpton of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away on April 30, 2025. She was born on May 12, 1945, to Tim and Murrell Holland in Memphis, Tennessee.

As a young person, Pam loved being involved in the Girl Scouts and going camping in the Smoky Mountains. She met the love of her life, Clay Crumpton, at a Christmas party in 1963, that was held by their piano teacher.  That began a relationship that lasted for over 60 years. They were married June 6, 1965. Pam was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee, for close to 40 years. At Bethel, she taught 2nd grade boys in Sunday school for many years, loved singing alto in the church choir, and taught in their Christian school.

Pam and Clay moved to Heber Springs, Arkansas, in 2010, and became members of Cleburne County Baptist Church. Family was very important to Pam, and she always had a genuine smile and encouraging word for everyone she came in contact with. She enjoyed shopping, floral work, crafting, and decorating for the season.  She had a servant’s heart, and was always the last one to sit down to every meal.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tim and Murrell Holland; and her grandson, Matthew Crumpton.

Pam is survived by her husband, Clay Crumpton; sons, Timothy Crumpton (Shannon), Craig Crumpton (Joy), and Jonathan Crumpton; grandchildren, Sarah Higgs (Randy), Andrew Crumpton (Loren), Joshua Crumpton (Lindsay), Caleb Crumpton (Jordan), Destiney Crumpton, Zechariah Crumpton, Tyler Crumpton, and Kaylee Crumpton; great-grandchildren, Corban Crumpton, Colson Crumpton, Clay Crumpton, Claren Crumpton, John Higgs, Lydia Higgs, Samuel Higgs, Titus Higgs, and Makenna Crumpton; and many other loving friends and family members.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, at 4:00 pm at Cleburne County Baptist Church, 1111 South 6th St, Heber Springs, Arkansas.
