Oather S Davis

Oather S. Davis, age 81, of Hopewell passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 at Southridge Parkway in Heber Springs. He was born on December 28, 1941 to the late Oather F. Davis and Mandy Ruth Miller Davis in Ida, Arkansas. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Kile Davis; and two sisters, Hazel Wildman, and Martha Davis.     

Oather is survived by a daughter, Tanya Reedy (Tommy) of Quitman, Arkansas; a son, Lynn Davis of Quitman, Arkansas; one brother, Sammy Davis (Angie) of Rose Bud, Arkansas; a sister, Daisy Laster of Ida, Arkansas, one granddaughter, Kayla Dollar (Luke) of Quitman, Arkansas; and two great-grandchildren, Noah Dollar and Harper Dollar; and other extended family members and friends.

Oather retired, after many years, as a Lineman for First Electric Cooperative. He enjoyed being outside, gardening, fishing, and visiting with friends and meeting new people. He never met a stranger.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 6, 2023 at Miller Cemetery in Drasco, Arkansas with Samuel Wildman officiating. 

Pallbearers are Charlie Laster, Donnie West, Kevin Wildman, Shane Davis, Jacob Johnston, Randy West.
