Norman Raleigh Phillips, age 92, of Concord, Arkansas passed away on August 19, 2024. He was born April 22, 1932 in Drasco, Arkansas to the late Otto and Mollie Phillips. Norman was a son, brother, husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa to his family. He enjoyed horses, ranching, sports, and being with kids of all ages.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Mollie Phillips; his brothers, Earl and Glen Phillips; and his son, Brent Phillips.
After serving in the Air Force, Norman moved to Rexford, Kansas to begin his farming/ranching career.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Connie Phillips; 2 daughters, Brenda (Steve) Smith of Wesson, Mississippi; Barb (JR) McCaffree of Leon, Kansas.; Brent’s wife, Diane Phillips of Selden, Kansas; his sister, Dorothy Spinks; nephews, Hollis (Debi) Spinks, and Hulan (Meagan) Spinks of Almond, Arkansas; Grandkids, Tyler Richardson, Clay Phillips, Lucas Phillips, Matt Smith, Josh Smith, Jenae Brice, Cade Minnick and Cooper Minnick; and 16 great-grandkids.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 23 at Missionary Baptist Church in Concord and burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery.
