Naomia Marie (Miller) Gauvey, born May 27,1937 in Tyler, Arkansas, entered into the arms of the Lord in the home in which she grew up while surrounded by her loved ones. In her last years, even though she could not attend church, she was very faithful to her church members in prayer, having prayer meetings, and Bible study in her home. She was faithful in mailing cards to uplift others even when she was not well. Family was her world as one raised three children and doted on her grandchildren til the end.  The youngest grands ,aka boys, she was blessed to live with the last few months and had so much fun teasing and "bossing".

She is preceded in death by her husband, F.L. (Sonnie) Gauvey; parents, Gilbert and Julia (Hixson) Miller; daughter, Freda Marie (Gauvey) Brown, and other family.

Naomia is survived by her son, Don (Anett) Gauvey; daughter Leasha (Ricky) Hayes; grandchildren: Nikki (Derick) King, Clint (Tana) Brown, Jonie (Daniel) Butkovich, Casey (Shane) Armer, Courtney (Shane) Hines; great-grandchildren: Haylee King,  Emma & Jayda Armer, Tucker Hines, Mason & Dayton Decker,  Alton & Alvey Dollar; Danlee Brown; and many other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Derick King, Clint Brown, Mason Decker, Alvey Dollar, Alton Dollar, and Dayton Decker.

Visitation is 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday, August 17, 2026 at Heber Springs Funeral Home.  The funeral service is 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Heber Springs Funeral Home, followed by the interment at Miller Cemetery in Drasco, Arkansas.  Bro. Brian Harlan is officiating.
