Michael Lynn Parish, age 66, passed away on August 27. He was born in Heber Springs on April 18, 1959, to the late Toy and Shirley Parish.

He will be remembered as a kind, loving, funny, and resilient brother, dad, Pawpaw, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many.

Mike is survived by his son, Shane Parish, wife, Candace, along with their children, Caleb and Gracyn, all of Heber Springs; his daughter, Stephanie Kindle, husband, Chris, along with their daughter, Amaya, of North Little Rock. He is also survived by his brother, Glenn Parish; his dear friend, Debbie; and a host of extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Dianne DeBusk.

Mike had a lifelong love of music and enjoyed playing whenever he had the chance. Music was one of his greatest joys.

Though he faced many challenges throughout his life, those who knew him will always remember his generous spirit, his humor, and the way he never stopped caring for the people he loved. His story is one of perseverance, family, and will serve as a reminder that love outlasts hardship.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at Heber Springs Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 3. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor his legacy.
