Lonna Faye Wheat

Lonna Faye Hill Musgrave Wheat was born August 15, 1936, in Fairfield, Illinois, the oldest daughter of Bernice Harold “Elzo” and Ethel Bernice Miles Hill. She went home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2020.  She married Donald Addison Musgrave September 16, 1954.  After they returned from his tour of duty in Okinawa in 1957, she worked at Southern Illinois University until his graduation in 1963.

In 1996 she married Charles Gene Wheat and they spent winters in Yuma, AZ for about 10 years.  She was a member of Chastain Chapel General Baptist Church of Tumbling Shoals, AR.

She was preceded in death by her youngest sister, Brenda Gaye Hill Wimpee; her Mother, Ethel Bernice Miles Hill, and her next youngest sister, Karen Rae Hill.

She is survived by her sister, Kay Ellen Hill Owen; her three children, Mark Evan Musgrave, Valerie Ann Musgrave (Ron) Forrest and Charles Harold Musgrave (Kelly); 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Heber Springs Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, Saturday at the funeral home.
