Laura Martinez Martinez, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Friend to many, passed away on December 11, 2024. She was born October 19, 1945 in Nuevo Linares, Hidalgo, Mexico. Laura was a strong woman of Faith. Known for her open heart, she was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. 

Laura is survived by her husband of 60 years; Vicente Leal Ponce, her sons; Beto, Ruben, Sipriano, Sergio, Raul, Oscar, her daughters; Julia, Maricela, Leticia, over 30 grandchildren, and over 30 great grandchildren.

Psalm 23

“The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff — they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD my whole life long”

Laura Martínez Martínez, Amada Esposa, Madre, Abuela, Bisabuela, y Amiga de muchos, falleció el 11 de diciembre de 2024. Nació el 19 de octubre de 1945 en Nuevo Linares, Hidalgo, México. Laura era una mujer fuerte de Fe. Conocida por su corazón abierto, siempre fue la primera en ayudar a cualquiera que lo necesitara. A Laura le sobreviven su esposo durante 60 años; Vicente Leal Ponce, sus hijos; Beto, Rubén, Sipriano, Sergio, Raúl, Oscar, sus hijas; Julia, Maricela, Leticia, más de 30 nietos y más de 30 bisnietos.

Salmo 23 

El Señor es mi pastor: nada me falta;' en verdes pastos él me hace reposar. A las aguas de descanso me conduce, y reconforta mi alma. Por el camino del bueno me dirige, por amor de su nombre. Aunque pase por quebradas oscuras, no temo ningún mal, porque tú estás conmigo con tu vara y tu bastón, y al verlas voy sin miedo. La mesa has preparado para mí frente a mis adversarios, con aceites perfumas mi cabeza y rellenas mi copa. Irán conmigo la dicha y tu favor mientras dure mi vida, mi mansión será la casa del Señora por largos, largos días.
