Larry Colvin passed away peacefully in his home in Heber Springs on July 10, 2023. Born December 12, 1938 in Kokomo, IN to the late Curtis Andrew Colvin and Icy Arlene Goldsberry, he was the youngest in a family of eight children. He was preceded in death by his siblings. He graduated from Kokomo where he lettered in track, cross country, and basketball, and from there, at the age of seventeen, he served two years in the Marines. Afterward, he worked for Haynes International for 40 years. He and his wife moved back to her home in Heber Springs in 2014 and have been there ever since.
