Lanna Dawn (Busby) Bradford Obituary
Lanna Dawn Bradford, age 57, passed away February 1, 2025 peacefully at her home in Batesville Arkansas after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in El Paso, Texas on Jul 15, 1967 into a musical family which produced a love of music that lasted her entire life. She learned to play the drums by the age of five and later in life learned to play the bass guitar.
She married fellow music lover Raymie Bradford on March 22, 1987. With only love and determination, the couple built a successful business, Crosswinds Sweeping, as well as their home with their own hands.
After the loss of Raymie's brother, Danny Bradford, Lanna was given the opportunity to be a mother and raise his son, Dalton Bradford.
The couple's free time was spent going to as many rock concerts as possible and meeting their favorite celebrities. Seen as the ultimate "Rock Star Chick," Lanna loved being backstage hanging out with her friends.
She and Raymie often played with family and friends in the couples' "Jam Room" which is filled with photos of the couple with various entertainers and memorabilia from their adventures. Lanna would invite those who came to the Jam Room to sign the curtains that hung on the windows.
The curtains, now filled with signatures, symbolize a lifetime of music and good times.
She is survived by her husband; mother, Peggy (Busby) Henshaw of Hoxie; son, Dalton Bradford of Batesville, many family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy "Mr. Memphis" Busby of Memphis, TN; grandparents, Gus and Mable Hatfield of Walnut Ridge; and Theda and Warren Busby of Memphis.
A Memorial Service will be held February 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the church at Antioch Cemetery in Drasco, Arkansas. Pastor Bud Bradford is officiating.
