Kenneth Bruce Mooney

Kenneth Bruce Mooney, age 74, of Drasco, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.  Kenneth was born October 4, 1949 in Rondo, Arkansas to the late William Osten Mooney and Lila Elizabeth Warwick Mooney. 

Kenneth retired as a truck driver for Razorback Concrete. When he wasn’t driving the truck, he was always involved in some type of construction. He loved to hunt and fish, play cards, and shoot pool. He especially loved to pick on people, joke and laugh. Between him and his brothers and sisters, there were too many chiefs and not enough indians. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lester Mooney and Mark Mooney; one sister, Patricia Waggle; and a granddaughter, Brianna Rose Stenger. 

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Patsy Burnett Mooney; son, Kenneth David Mooney (Dawn) of Russell, Arkansas; daughter, Tamera Dawn Stenger (Charles Gray) of Drasco, Arkansas; brother, Danny Mooney of Scott, Arkansas; sisters, Billie Ann Cook of McRae, Arkansas and Katie Cavette of Marvell, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kent Mooney (Lauren), Hunter Gaskin (Timothy), and Osten Stenger (Emily); great-grandchildren, Journee Smith, Jaxson Mooney, Saylor Mooney, and Ellie Gaskin.

A visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, November 17, 2023 at Heber Springs Funeral Home.
