Kathy Ann (James) Williams

Kathy Ann Williams, age 69, of Pangburn, Arkansas, passed away Thursday June 1, 2023 at Unity Health in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born March 18, 1954 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Leonard Jack James and Ruth Katherine Hicks Jamesl. 

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Frank James and Jesse James.

She is survived by her husband, James Williams of Pangburn, Arkansas; one son, Judson Warden (Erika) of Pangburn, Arkansas; two daughters, Penny Marsh (Johnny) of Pangburn, Arkansas and Jenny Eckenfels (Dan) of Fenton, Missouri; brother, Jerry James of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two sisters, Frances Oakes (Lonnie) of Sherwood, Arkansas and Jackie Lawson (Jim) of Kensett, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Jacob Warden, Aurora Warden, Konner Marsh, Eli Marsh, Quinn Eckenfels, Tennyson Eckenfels, and Shepherd Eckenfels; two special nieces, Wendy Rainwater of Searcy, Arkansas and Cindy Miller of Searcy, Arkansas; and many extended family members and friends. 

Kathy invested her time in a lot of hobbies. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and embroidering. She loved to go fishing and birdwatching.  Through the years, she loved to provide care for many different kinds of animals she had as pets. One of her favorite shows to watch was Gunsmoke. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and cooking at the family get-togethers. She had a great impact on her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.  

In lieu of a formal visitation, the family will receive guests at the home on 803 Torrence St. in Pangburn on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. 

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn, Arkansas. Bro. Samuel Wildmon is officiating.
