Judy (Rorie) Clark Obituary
Judy (Rorie) Clark was born on August 6, 1949, in Mountain View, Arkansas, to the late Ralph and Pauline Rorie. She passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas, on July 26, 2026 surrounded by her family.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Bobbie Swafford, Benny Rorie, Billy Rorie, Randy Rorie, Ronald Rorie, and Andrew Rorie; and her best friend and the love of her life, Wayne Adams.
Judy is survived by her children, Russell Barnes of Mountain View and Lisa Baser (Jesse) of Heber Springs; her grandchildren, Karessa (April), Hazen (David), Kane (Kenley), Seth, Nikki, and Danielle; her great-grandchildren, Dayton, Denver, and Landon; her siblings, Virginia Wood, Kathryn Greenway (Jimmy), and Jane Canard (Kenny); and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Judy spent the first part of her life in Mountain View before moving to Heber Springs, where she spent the remainder of her years. She also spent a brief time living in California, where she later laughed that the Hells Angels were “some really nice guys.”
Everyone who knew Judy knew her as “Nanny.” She had a hand in raising countless children and grandchildren over the years, always making room at the dinner table for anyone and everyone. She had a way of making people feel loved, welcomed, and cared for. Judy had a strong faith and a servant’s heart. She never hesitated to help someone in need, whether it was family, friends, or a stranger. Her kindness, compassion, and generosity touched countless lives.
There will never be a stronger, kinder person than our Nanny, and she will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
The Visitation is 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Heber Springs Funeral Home, followed by the service at 11:00 AM. Samuel Wildmon is officiating. The interment is at 1:30 PM at Mt. Joy Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Kane Dill, Russell Barnes, Jesse Baser, David Fraser, Steve Clark, and Randon Greenway.
Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Rorie Jr., Randy Rorie Jr., Roger Thomas, Johnny Thomas, Jeremy Canard, Shane Canard, Kenny Swafford, and Dayton Fraser.
The family would like to thank the incredible teams at Arkansas Hospice and St. Vincent Hospital for the compassionate care they provided. We would also like to extend a special thank you to her private CNA, Kenley Dill, for her unwavering kindness, dedication, and loving care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Judy’s name to the Heber Springs Humane Society. Judy was a lifelong animal advocate and had a special place in her heart for the “little doggies and cats needing homes.”
