John Wayne Sevier, of Searcy Arkansas, passed away March 22, 2026 at the age of 72. He was born in Camden, Arkansas on December 16, 1953. 

John was preceded in death by his father Bud Sevier, mother Johnette Sevier, brother Mike Sevier, and sister-in-law Janna Riggan. He is survived by loving wife Dorinda of 39 years, daughter Cara (William) Engle, granddaughter Daisy Engle, and other family members Robert and Leslie Riggan, Alex (Rebeka, Kinsley, Journey, Everlee, and Addaline) Riggan, Sidney (Dallas) Robertson, Amanda (Todd, Lizzie and Caroline) Branson. 

John will continue to be remembered for his countless knowledge, fun stories, and infectious laughter. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Faith Assembly of God beginning at 2pm with a visitation beginning at 1pm.
