John Conrad Ronquest, age 86, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at his residence in Heber Springs. He was born January 11, 1935 in Washington, Missouri to the late Leo Thomas Ronquest and Cornelia Coleman Ronquest.
John had several hobbies including woodworking, turkey, deer and duck hunting, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, and enjoyed watching football. He dearly loved his family and his dog Abby.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Ronquest; one daughter, Ann Stevens of Roan Mountain, TN; two sons, Phil Ronquest (Margaret) of Mahomet, IL and Jim Ronquest (Rosi) of Hazen, AR; four grandchildren, Caleb Ronquest, Matthew Leach, Megan Ridgeway, and Jenna Ronquest; six great-grandchildren, Jameson, Nolan, and Henry Ridgeway, Madeleine and Grant Leach, and Rhett Ronquest and many friends.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Heber Springs Humane Society.

March 30, 2021 9:31 AMJohn Ronquest, he was a loving & kind neighbor to my husband, my daughter and I. When we lived next door to John & Karen, I remember him working on refinishing and sanding a table and chairs that we would later sit out back on while we would chat and watch their puppies. Ron and Karen got married in that home and I felt lucky to be a part of it, as they asked me to take pictures. Ron and Karen were there for me while my husband was deployed to Iraq, they got our daughter her baby book and the cutest stuffed dog she named Bella, which “Katie”, as John called our daughter, carried with her for a few years even after we moved out of state. We have never forgotten John’s kindness to us, he will be missed.
