Jimmy Charles McFadden Obituary

Jimmy Charles McFadden, age 89, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away at his home on Monday, April 14,  2025. He was born January 30, 1936 in Kensett, Arkansas to the late Newton Floyd McFadden and Minnie Lee Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jerry Ray McFadden.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Frances McFadden; three brothers, Julian McFadden of Kensett, Arkansas, Larry Lester McFadden of Paragould, Arkansas, and Warren D. McFadden of Kensett, Arkansas; two sisters, Dorothy Lee Underwood and Helen M. Frost, both of Kensett, Arkansas; and four special little girls, Harper, Ava, Malee, and Erica.

Jimmy served our great country in the United States Air Force for 27 years before retiring as a Master Sergeant. In his freetime while serving in the Air Force, and traveling all over the world, he was able to play golf in many exotic places. His favorite place to play was in the Azores Islands off the coast of Spain. He eventually moved back home in the late 1990’s and in 2008, he married his love, Frances Ferren. He loved to eat at Olive Garden and was a regular at KJ’s. He was known as a wonderful husband, a brother, and a friend to many people, but he was also known as a giver. He had a heart of pure gold who saw the best in people and a need to invest in something he believed in. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. We know he is resting in the arms of the Lord.
