Jerry Brooks Cooper Sr.

Jerry Brooks Cooper Sr., age 88, of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He was born November 11, 1935 in Rector, Arkansas to the late Frank Cooper and Lura Holifield. He was a member of Tumbling Shoals Baptist Church. 

Jerry loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed cooking, especially for his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-children. He loved to go to church and help other people any way he could.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Naoma Cooper; parents, Frank and Lura Cooper; brothers, Robert Cooper and Edmund Cooper; sister, Mary Alice Fielder; and great-grandchild, Cole Cooper.

Jerry is survived by his son, Jerry Cooper (Tina) of Marion, Arkansas; grandchildren, Erik Cooper (Jessica), and Brooke Benson (Robert); great-grandchildren, Tripp, Shelby, Ava, Brooklyn, Sloane, Ryder, and Myles and many extended family members and wonderful friends. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. 

Visitation is 10:00 AM, Friday, April, 19, 2024 at Tumbling Shoals Baptist Church with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM, followed by the interment at Cleburne County Memorial Gardens in Heber Springs.
