Jamie Lynn Johnson, age 47 of Drasco, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021. He was born March 22, 1974 in Heber Springs, the son of Willie Dale and Phyllis Verser Johnson.
Jamie was a master marine mechanic and a farmer. He loved to camp, and hunt and fish. He was a jokester and had a joke each morning for his step daughters which they loved. He was a huge fan of Seinfeld and the movies Lonesome Dove and Tombstone. He loved his grandchildren very much and loved spending time with them. He was crazy about his dogs Mordecai and Bingo. He enjoyed entertaining and loved cooking crawfish. His family stated he had the biggest heart of anyone they had ever known and was the best husband, father, step-father, son and grandfather you could ever ask for. He loved everyone and is going to be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy R. Johnson; and his grandparents, Lloyd and Orpha Verser and Albert and Ruth Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Brandy Johnson; his parents Willie Dale and Phyllis Johnson of Greers Ferry, Arkansas; one son Hunter R Johnson (Chasity) of Greers Ferry, Arkansas; two step daughters, Brailey and Hailie Strayer of the home; one brother, Jeffrey Johnson of Greers Ferry, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Cash R. Johnson and Henzlie J. Johnson; extended family members and many friends.
Graveside Service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Brownsville Cemetery with Bro. Darvin Carlton officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM, May 19, 2021 at Brownsville Church in Brownsville.
