James William Wilson Jr., age 72, of Concord, Arkansas passed away at his home in Concord on Thursday, December 23, 2021. He was born in Batesville, Arkansas on July 06, 1949 to the late James William Wilson Sr. and Lucille Thomas Wilson.

Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved gardening. Every year his large garden consisted of a wide variety of vegetables. Just a couple of seasons ago, his tomato plants alone numbered 246 plants.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Dapha Gillmore.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Wilson Dayberry; one son, Johnny Wilson (Claudia) of Texas; one daughter, Kelly McClure (Darin) of Batesville, Arkansas; one brother, Jerry Wilson (Denese) of Almond, Arkansas; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.

No memorial service is planned at this time.
