Howard Lynn Brierly

Howard Lynn Brierly, 75 of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away Tuesday May 4, 2021. He was born December 22, 1945 to the late Gale and Helen Tarrant Brierly in Mason City, Iowa. He was proud to have served in the United States Marine Corp in the Recon Unit. The family moved to Heber Springs in 1979.

Howard did carpenter work, building homes and doing remodels. He also owned a tool and die shop for about ten years. Howard loved to fish and garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Kevin; his grandson Shawn; and his brother Gary.

Survivors include his wife Janiece; son Curtis and his wife Lisa; daughter -in-law Peggy; five grandchildren, Britney, Brandon, Caleb, Corey, and Shane; three great grandchildren, Cooper, Adalee, and Aviana; three brothers, Dennis and wife Pat, Kelly and wife Karen, and Barry; his Aunt Mary Lou and her husband Fred; very special friend, Bobbie Treece; other extended relatives and many friends.

Memorial service will be Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Heber Springs Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Toombs officiating. A time of visitation will begin at 2:00 pm until service time. Military Honors by US Marine Corp Honor Guard.
