Herbert Dale Miller, age 82, of Concord, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 at his home. He was born October 11, 1943 in Russell, Arkansas to the late Edward Dale Miller and Cordie Bell Cagle Miller. 

Herbert proudly served his country in the Army and fought in the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged from the service, Herbert entered the workforce at Concord Pallet Mill. He later worked for First Electric Cooperative, before retiring from Howard Trucking Inc.

Herbert loved God, Family, and Country. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Dale and Cordie (Cagle) Miller; three brothers, Franklin Dene Miller, Famous LE Miller, and Fred Glen Miller; four sisters, Bonnie Lorene Chapman, Helen Elevena Kearns, Willie Alliene Hicks, and Thelma Irene Newman.

Herbert is survived by one sister, Mina Gene (Noel) Sartain, 14 nieces and nephews, a host of great as well as great-great nieces, and nephews, extended family members, and friends. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. 

A visitation will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Heber Springs Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM, with Bro. Samuel Wildmon officiating. The interment is at Miller Cemetery in Ida, Arkansas. Pallbearers are David Vinson, David Miller, Tommy Freeman, Thomas Freeman, Arnold Miller, James Belt.  Honorary pallbearers are Jayden Lawrence, Landon Lawrence.
