Henry Hampton Stephens Sr, age 72, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away at Baptist Hospital Medical Center in Heber Springs on Friday, October 1, 2021.  He was born in Forrest City, Arkansas to the late Homer Stephens and Mary Milton Stephens on March 30, 1949. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Henry was a retired dealership mechanic who loved to hunt and fish any chance he could. He enjoyed listening to his audio Bible every morning. He loved spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Most of all, he loved and was completely dedicated to his wife.   

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ricky Stephens; two sisters, Mary Francis Dawson, and Bertha Smitherman.

Henry is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Jones) Stephens; two sons, Henry H. Stephens Jr. (Deandra) of Heber Springs and James P. Stephens of Heber Springs; one daughter, Lisa Humes of Searcy, Arkansas; two brothers, Danny Stephens (Sue) of Forrest City, Arkansas and Gary Stephens of Forrest City, Arkansas; one sister, Marie Bottini (Nick) of Jasper, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation for friends and family is from 5-7pm, Monday, October 4, 2021 at Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel
