Henrietta Aycock Obituary

Henrietta Martinez Aycock passed away peacefully on August 9, 2021 at the age of 95. Henrietta was born in Ault, Colorado on September 18, 1925. She spent most of her life living in California which is the place that she most enjoyed. Some of the best times of her life was all the time she spent working. She did all kinds of jobs over the course of her life. She was a car hop, a hostess, and a model in her younger years. She also worked to make ammunition for submarines in WWll, she then went on to work on the interiors of new aircrafts, and eventually she even did work on a spacecraft that went to the moon. Her most important job, however, was being a mother to her 9 children; Agnes McLeod (Pangburn, AR), Leonard Hancock (Washington), Patricia Johnson (Mesa, Arizona), Floyd Wesley Storey Jr. (Deceased), Henry Storey (Pangburn, AR), Joe Phillip Storey (Deceased), Kenneth Storey (Fayetteville, GA), Vicky O’Conner (Friendsville, TN), Clint David Storey (Victorville, CA). She had 19 grandchildren, (18 surviving and 1 deceased), 38 Great-Grandchildren, and 13 Great-Great-Grandchildren (and counting), for a total of 79 offspring, and she loved them all unconditionally.

Henrietta spent a lot of her free time playing bingo, card games, and board games and she was pretty good at winning them, too. She loved to travel and be on the go, she was skilled at crocheting, and she loved spending time with her family. In her later years, she moved from California to Tennessee and then to Arkansas in 2012 where she was a member of the Pangburn Church of Christ. She remained in Arkansas until the end of her long, full life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southern Christian Home in Morrilton, Arkansas.
