Helen Darlene Rushing, age 75, of Wilburn, Arkansas passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born June 26, 1949 in Springfield, Illinois to the late Jewel Dee Stringfellow and Audrey Helen Reynolds. 

Helen was a retired bank teller after many years of service. She loved to go on drives especially through mud puddles, watching birds, flowers, gardening, canoeing, eating candy, and doing anything outdoors. She loved all of her animals, especially her dogs. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, and all of her grandchildren. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Darrel Wayne Rushing; and one brother, Benjamin Birdie “Skip” Stringfellow. 

Helen is survived by her son, Monel Lynn Vlahon of Wilburn, Arkansas; three daughters, Cheryl Renee Huggins of Wilburn, Arkansas, Stacy Janese Reynolds (Garry) of Rose Bud, Arkansas, and Kimberly Joan Morris (Jason) of Wilburn, Arkansas; three sisters, Irene King, Sandy Stringfellow, and Angela Cox; Nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
