Harvey Raydean Adcock, age 88, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away at his home on August 14, 2022. He was born on July 31, 1934 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to the late James David Adcock and Jessie Lorene Liles Adcock. He was a long-time and active member of Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church.

Harvey was well known in Heber Springs, Cleburne County, and in many parts of Arkansas. He served as the Cleburne County Judge for many years, as well as a Justice of the Peace.  He became a pillar in the community. Harvey was a hard worker and had many talents and skills which caused him to have many jobs in his life. He was the Plant Superintendent at Chase Manufacturing Company, worked in construction, and was the business owner of Sandi’s Family Restaurant in Heber Springs for many years. However, his favorite job and responsibility was being a deacon at Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church.

Harvey loved music. Since he was 5 years old, he loved playing the guitar and singing. Not only did he teach his kids the importance of hard work, but he taught his kids how to play musical instruments. Harvey could play any instrument that he picked up. Harvey loved his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren were the most important things in his life. He had such a great love for his family, his church, and serving the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his parents; four sons, Danny Adcock, Michael Adcock, Scott Adcock, and Randy Adcock.

Harvey is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra Adcock; two sons, Jimmy Adcock, and Stanley Adcock and wife, Dianne; two daughters, Sharon Adcock, and Hope Gibson and husband, Frank; daughter in law, Dorothy Adcock; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
