Harvey was well known in Heber Springs, Cleburne County, and in many parts of Arkansas. He served as the Cleburne County Judge for many years, as well as a Justice of the Peace.  He became a pillar in the community. Harvey was a hard worker and had many talents and skills which caused him to have many jobs in his life. Harvey loved music. Since he was 5 years old, he loved playing the guitar and singing. Not only did he teach his kids the importance of hard work, but he taught his kids how to play musical instruments. Harvey could play any instrument that he picked up. Harvey loved his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren were the most important things in his life. He had such a great love for his family, his church, and serving the Lord.
