Harrol L Newgent

Harrol L. Newgent, age 87, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away at his home Tuesday, August 29, 2023. He was born December 15, 1935 in Big Flat, Arkansas to the late Dewey Newgent and Grace Passmore Newgent. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, D.A. Newgent and Raymond Newgent; and two sisters, Wanda Arnold, and Louise Newgent. 

Harrol is survived by his wife, Bonnie J. Lawrence Newgent; son, H. Keith Newgent (Linda) of Cabot, Arkansas; brother, John P. Newgent of Jerseyville, Illinois; and one granddaughter, Natalie Kennedy (Adam) of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Harrol loved the Lord with his whole heart. He was a strong faith leader of the family and a devoted member of First Assembly of God church in Heber Springs. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was very passionate about his wife, his family, and his yard work. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. 

Visitation is 12:00pm, Friday, September 1, 2023 at First Assembly of God in Heber Springs followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00pm with Rev. Lee Brown officiating. The interment is at Big Flat Cemetery in Big Flat, Arkansas.
